"Teenage Dream" is the second single by American recording artist Katy Perry from her second mainstream studio album, Teenage Dream. Perry described the song as reminiscent of her youth while contemplating her future marriage to boyfriend Russell Brand. The music video premiered on August 10, 2010 and Perry also performed the song at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. It has reached number seven on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 to date.
